It was reassuring to read that the Washington Fish and Wildlife Department has backed off plans to kill the elk at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge golf course. (Thursday, “Plans to shoot golf course elk appear to be on hold.”) I was one of the many who called the golf course to complain about the plan. I’m glad our voices were heard.
The elk and all the other animals lived on that land for years — it was their home and it still should be. How can people kill a beautiful animal?
