With all the discussion about the picture of the eagle in The Herald on July 23, the most all-American bird: You folks do not have to look at that. There are worse pictures in the papers lately. Like war-torn countries and people being bombed out of their homes. I am Native Indian and believe that eagles bring good fortune. In fact, we have four eagles in our backyard here on Whidbey. They are awesome to see. They a have neat sound. So let nature take its course.
