What has changed over the last 60 years?
The students who graduated from high school in the 1930s through the 1950s went on to develop the sulpha drugs, penicillin, jet engines and rockets to the moon, all without homework before the ninth grade or SAT and/or WASL tests. Now these tests are required in order to graduate. Is this an indication of a decline in the ability to learn or to teach?
