Regarding Tim Eyman’s Nov. 14 guest commentary, “Voters weren’t saying, ‘OK, tax us more’ ”:
It is easy to say don’t tax us more, as no one loves taxes. Maybe the majority of voters were saying we elected representatives at all levels of government to make the tough choices of who gets the limited funding, be it educating our children, housing families in desperate need, fixing a bridge, or even funding adequate police or fire to make us all feel relatively safe in our community.
If these representatives do not use prudent judgment with these decisions, they can be replaced at the very next election.
