He should be given community service

I have to agree 100 percent with the Thursday letter, “Kayaker should be finded heavily.” In addition to a hefty fine, how about 200 hours of community service? The search and rescue teams lost hours that would have been dedicated to scared and desperate families at that time. Shame on him. Next time, check the news and see what else is going on in the area!
