One recent Saturday afternoon my 85-year-old husband and I were working in the shrub border at the front of our place on Mukilteo Boulevard. Suddenly, two trucks stopped and the drivers jumped out to help my husband. He had tripped and fallen into the bike path on the boulevard, banging his head and scraping one elbow. They carefully helped him into the house. I took him to the walk-in clinic on Rucker Avenue, where he received the very best treatment from the caring doctor, nurses and lab technician. Dr. Saffitz even called the next morning to check on his condition.
The walk-in clinic personnel, and the two husky young men, Bill Gann and Paul Eckert, are our heroes. Paul even returned next day with his lovely wife, Tina, to check on Frank’s condition. May they all accept our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
