With abortion so prevalent in today’s news, I’d like to offer my thoughts. I do believe that in certain circumstances (rape, incest, medical necessity), it should be the mother’s choice.
I don’t believe however, that it should be used as birth control. There are plenty of other options for that. I have two great kids because their birth moms chose adoption versus abortion. I have prayed for them often and thank them for the decision they made.
I acknowledge the magnitude of such decision. I am also glad to see that single people raising kids these days don’t face the stigma some did back in the late ’60s early ’70s when my kids were born.
