Regarding the Tuesday article, “District chops 2 hours off Fridays”: How is the decision to reduce classroom instruction time by two hours per week going to measurably help the students of the Snohomish School District attain better grades, compete in today’s global marketplace or gain acceptance to higher level post high school educational options?
Building great young minds starts in full-time homes with parents and full-time classrooms with teachers, not in part-time planning sessions developing the next operating system.
