Seems to me that 20 years ago the Everett port commissioners bragged that the Port of Everett was the only port that didn’t collect a port real estate tax. Back then we were a blue collar working town.
How much of that $4.3 million operating revenue was generated by collecting taxes from the working people? How much of the $4.3 million is going to build a private waterfront village for people who can afford 50-foot yachts?
