It’s nice to have Highway 530 resurfaced, but my concern is the two danger areas on 530, Skaglund Hill and Mehlum slide area. It will soon be 40 years since my family had to move to get ready for the new highway, which we are still waiting for. These two areas are more dangerous now than they were then.
We have such heavy traffic on Highway 530; we could all see that this summer, while stopped with the resurfacing work. I passed a group of bicyclists the other day. When they go around Mehlum slide area; there is simply not enough room. How much longer will it be?
