Involve more local schools

Regarding the Wednesday Kid Scoop page: Trying to get kids interested in a newspaper is, I am sure, a difficult thing. So offering them their own page once a week seems like a very sound idea, especially if there is a chance they may see their name or maybe a classmate’s, in print. Why does the Kid Scoop organization seem to think there are only three schools within The Herald’s reach? Week after week the same schools show up like clockwork. If the idea really is to get kids to read the paper shouldn’t the feature widen it’s scope?

Good idea, poor execution.
