Iraqis should accept US. apology, move on

OK, so let me get this straight:

“They” kill our soldiers without apology.

“They” kill their own children without apology.

“They” mutilate the bodies of the dead without apology.

“They” destroy what has been rebuilt without apology.

“They” hide and conceal criminals from justice without apology.

“We” are supposed to accept that “they” are a civilized people and the actions of a few do not represent the whole bunch.

“They” now condemn us for the actions of a few and demand an apology because a few of their citizens were ridiculed and humiliated.

The exercise of democracy requires a civilized people.

The barbarians in Iraq are not deserving of, nor are they capable of, democracy.

It is time for the average Iraqi to show that a civilized people do live there and “get with the program” or be prepared to suffer with what they are going to get by refusing to fight for democracy and freedom.

Iraqis must condemn the actions of those who are resisting the rebuilding of their country.

Iraqis must refuse to provide shelter to those who continue to kill and maim innocent civilians and honorable soldiers working to provide them a stable environment.

Iraqis must understand that we are human and humans make mistakes.

So far, I have supported our actions and our goals in Iraq, but I am rapidly reaching the point of “To #%^# with ‘them.’” Maybe we need to just pull out and let “them” have what “they” deserve.

To err is human; to forgive is divine. It is time for the so pompously righteous Arab Muslim world to prove how “divine” it really is.

An offense was committed. An apology has been made.

Forgive and get over it or suffer greater offenses the the hands of your own people.
