Please send a message to Tim Eyman that the people of Please send a message to Tim Eyman that the people of Washington are thoughtful and caring. We must work together for transportation solutions. We will not buy into the knee-jerk, poorly thought out and selfish “me first” mantra that he preaches. If passed, Initiative 745 will certainly be challenged in court just like Initiative 695. Meanwhile, the Legislature will be thrown into a tailspin, costing taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars and delaying the process of citizens and political leaders working together for responsible, well thought out solutions. We must find ways to solve the transportation needs of all citizens.
The way to solve a problem is to consider the needs of all parties. It’s time that we step back and look for the greater good. Instead of asking, “what’s in it for me?” ask, “How can we best help each other?”
For all our sake, vote no on I-745.
