It’s always been good family fun

Once again the city of Snohomish has let down both its citizens and business owners. Losing the bike show is going to be a tragedy for not only families that attend but local business.

I have attended the show many times and have never seen anything but bustling shops, full restaurants and family fun. I can’t believe that in these tough economic times that the city government would be so irresponsible to lose this event.

First Street is also a common summertime stop for touring motorcycle enthusiasts to stop for shopping and lunch. I only hope this isn’t indicating an anti-rider sentiment among the town government. My condolences to the businesses that will lose out.
