John McCoy offers real solutions

John McCoy would be a great choice for our state representative in the 38th District, Position 1. He is a genuine leader with a proven commitment to our families.

He is a lifetime resident, retiring from a 20-year career in the Air Force to lead one of Snohomish County’s ambitious economic projects. As director of the very successful Quil Ceda Village and former technology professional he understands how to create opportunity and employment. He played a key role in creating 700 permanent jobs when our region was suffering from the impact of the Boeing layoffs.

His interest in education is legendary. He has led efforts to put computers in classrooms through the Marysville School District and invested in the Boys and Girls Club and Everett Community College. He has helped create opportunities for students to receive hands-on computer training, knowing full-well how very important this education will be now and in the future.

He understands that seniors are struggling with costly prescription drugs and health care costs. He has been a leader in delivering health care solutions to the Tulalip Seniors, and plans to take this knowledge to Olympia.

He has earned the support of the Snohomish Labor Union, County Executive Bob Drewel, state Sen. Jeri Costa, state Rep. Jean Berkey, and our neighbors throughout the 38th District. He deserves our votes and would be a genuine leader serving the people of the 38th District with focus, commitment and proven leadership.
