If those of you who have written in criticizing Officer Carlile actually knew him, you would think twice before judging. Derek Carlile is one of the most kind people I know. He would do anything to help out any one of you. As a police officer he is so respected by his colleagues, as well as the community.
I’m sure that he would never expect to be treated any differently than anyone else. The family is beyond devastated and if you knew them personally, I know you’d feel bad for your comments. By far one of the nicest families I have ever known!
