Just more liberal media bias

In reading your editorial endorsement of the 44th Legislative District titled, “Schmidt, Lovick model bipartisan work in 44th,” I was not surprised that The Herald chose to endorse the status quo. The basis for your decision, though, is neither intelligent nor founded in anything other than the usual liberal media bias.

I must agree with Rep. John Lovick on one issue finally and that is his confidence in his opponent. Indeed, Irene Endicott would and will be a superior representative for the 44th District. Her knowledge of the issues coupled with plans of action to take with her to Olympia far exceed everything that Mr. Lovick has articulated in his public appearances.

Citizens of the 44th deserve the best representation they can get by the most qualified and intelligent candidate and that is Irene Endicott. I don’t believe the road to Olympia should be traveled by someone whose shortcomings are overlooked only because he is a nice man.
