Keep in mind all we’ve been told

Do you remember Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld saying “We know Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, and we know where they are – they’re in Baghdad and Tikrit”? Do you remember National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice (now secretary of state) saying, “Nobody in this administration said we knew exactly where the weapons were?” Do you remember President Bush saying that we’ll get Osama dead or alive? Do you remember President Bush in full military gear on the deck of the aircraft carrier with the banner “Mission Accomplished” in the background? Do you remember President Bush saying “Bring it on!” boldly to the insurgents and terrorists? Do you remember the many times that President Bush has linked the Iraq war to the 9/11 terror attacks? Do you remember the many times that President Bush has said that we’re safer now than we’ve been in the past? If so, keep those memories and enjoy them.
