As we near Administrative Professionals Day, I would like to acknowledge Principal Kathy Engell of Kent Prairie Elementary School in Arlington. I have worked with her for several years and am constantly impressed with her professional and personal leadership.
She has successfully created a learning and work environment that is respectful and supportive for students, staff and parents. Mrs. Engell has a true heart for each and every one of her students, and a desire for all to reach their academic best. She works long days to make sure our children have a safe, happy and challenging school experience where all can be successful. The staff and students at Kent Prairie are so fortunate to have Kathy as our principal.
