Carolyn Klein promotes a fire district that will serve the entire community. We need our fire commissioners to be responsive to all the residents of Camano Island and accountable for the expenditure of funds. Carolyn Klein is whom we need. Carolyn promotes transparency and fiscal responsibility.
For five years, Carolyn has attended the twice-monthly fire commissioners’ meetings, as well as budget meetings and workshops. After years of observing, asking questions, studying and researching decisions being made by the current fire commissioners, Carolyn concluded real change is needed to best represent and serve the community through the eyes of a non-firefighter, one with a strong civilian voice. Carolyn is just the person our community needs in this position.
Camano Island Fire and Rescue has dedicated firefighters, both career and volunteer, serving our community. Carolyn’s goal is to combine the needs of the firefighters with those of the community for a more cohesive and transparent CIFR.
