Klein will be good steward of tax dollars

I have known Carolyn Klein for the past seven years and strongly believe that she is the best choice for Camano Island Fire Commissioner Position 2. Carolyn is a strong community advocate who has been involved in many local volunteer community organizations. As an active member and past President of the Mabana Flames, she gained insight into the operation and needs of our local fire department. She worked tirelessly to help raise funds to purchase needed equipment for our volunteer firefighters.

For the past four years, Carolyn has been attending the Camano Island Fire Commissioners twice monthly meetings. By listening, questioning and researching, she has become very knowledgeable on the issues that face Camano Island Fire and Rescue. She has been representing Camano Island residents promoting fiscal responsibility and transparency from outside the commission. The commission is currently made up of past firefighters or relatives of firefighters. It is time for a citizen representative from outside the firefighter community to be on the Commission. Carolyn is the perfect choice for positive change.

Carolyn has a strong business background having worked for a large corporation and run her own small business. She will be a good steward of our tax dollars. She is truly passionate about promoting a cohesive fire department to serve the entire community. Please join me in voting on Nov. 5 for Carolyn Klein for Fire Commissioner Position 2.
