It is so exciting to see Kristin Kelly, Snohomish County’s long time county representative of Futurewise and currently Pilchuck Audubon Society, running for the decision-making seat on the County Council.
During my time as a Lynnwood City Council member, Kristin could be depended upon for providing well-informed comments regarding policies and law on planning and environmental subjects ranging from growth management to bicycle paths. She knew what was going on throughout the county, where regional entities had weighed in and how citizen priorities were being served or not. You could depend on her testimony being relevant, and timely. She is an outspoken advocate for keeping and building really great communities for citizens in Snohomish County.
I depended on her, and you can depend on her to work for carefully considered decisions that will affect quality of life as our county grows in population. In east county she will ensure your environment is protected, small business can flourish, and our communities will be safe and affordable to live in.
