Less exposure is more, for most

Sarah Palin has fallen on/taken up her sword and only she seems to know really why … is there any sound reason why anyone else should really care? Have we as a society become so deluded by celebratorian narcissism that boobs of whatever gender can make an appearance on the stage of American history and be taken seriously? Has American politics reduced itself merely to a theater of the absurd where fawning news media celebrate this nonsense?

On an apparently different note, we have the shadowy throbbing heart of the former vice president whose name brings to mind Lon Chaney — neither hardly a celebratorian narcissist. Maybe I’m confusing “Vice’s” coronary machinations with Poe’s “Tell Tale Heart” … OK, “never more.” But Dick Cheney does deserve all the exposure he gets, despite his controlling inclinations.

On the more respectable side of credibility, we have former CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden telling us that “certain” senior Republican and Democratic senators were informed of CIA practices that were so secret that the leadership of the Senate and the House were denied access. What part of the word “democracy” don’t I understand? Well … OK … sorry … I forgot about “Vice.” He actually claimed that he was a member of the legislative branch — a lawmaker.

And where was/is the “Decider” in all of this bovine sludge? Why, torturing the language, of course!
