I am not a Democrat; I am not a Republican. I will not sign an oath saying that I am either. What sort of ethic would that be? When will we have to register as Christian or Jew, Muslim or Infidel? How is that different? They each answer to a Higher Power, as do the foot soldiers of the two main political parties. The arrogant Mr. Ellis, Ms. Modrell and Mr. Hintz are acting like gods throwing out votes. I receive postal mail, phone calls and e-mail from both Democrats and Republicans. I haven’t decided yet who I will vote for; I don’t have to. The election isn’t until November.
Look at the changes that have happened in the last few months. I appreciated the Sunday editorial (“Party processes need an extreme makeover”); I don’t think the two main parties should have the power that they do. I don’t know how to start a grassroots movement but I will help someone who does.
