I have been involved in public education from several different perspectives, and from my experience, I am more than confident in my decision to support Chris Reykdal for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Chris received the sole endorsement of the Washington Education Association early on with overwhelming support, and he has also picked up endorsements from the American Federation of Teachers – Washington, the Association of Washington School Principals, Public School Employees of Washington, and many more.
In addition, Chris has received sole endorsements from the current and two former superintendents, the current and former deputy superintendents, several current and former assistant superintendents, and teachers, parents, and education leaders all over the state.
Chris has served as a teacher, school board member, state legislator (currently serving as Vice-Chair of the House Education Committee), father of two kids in public school (5th and 7th grades), husband of a school counselor and school board member, and he has served for 14 years as a budget and education policy executive for our state’s community and technical college system.
If you are looking for a leader who is consistent, honest, passionate about our kids’ potential, experienced, and has a long record of being involved in their local community, then Chris Reykdal is the right choice for you.
With his wide range of experience in public education and his incredible passion for ensuring equity for all kids, Chris Reykdal is the clear choice for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
