Several years ago, my son, an Iraq war veteran, was involved in a serious car accident just before his second deployment. To add to the problem, he was also robbed at the accident scene of his driver’s license and military ID, making it impossible to get him onto a military base to get medical treatment. Because he was so badly injured, the Department of Licensing refused to reissue his driver’s license, and without that we could not get his military ID.
In a panic, I contacted every political official I could think of, from local representatives to the governor. Only one person responded. That was John Lovick. He and his staff worked to get his license reinstated when no one else would even listen. I believe that Mr. Lovick will continue to respond to the people he is serving in the role of Snohomish County sheriff.
