Many people, charities help homeless, and refugees

Regarding the letter, “Help homeless kids in state before refugees”: How does the letter writer know these people who want to let in refugees don’t also help homeless teens and people too? You do a great disservice to the churches and charities that help refugees as well as the homeless, not to mention the many individuals who take time out of their days to help both. Contrary to assumptions, it is possible to help both the homeless and refugees at the same time.

Since the writer likes Bible verses, here’s one that he needs to heed; Matthew 25:31-46. I suggest he especially pay very special attention to 41-46
