Many thanks for fishing adventure

I would like to thank the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club, Everett Parks and Recreation, John’s Sporting Goods of Everett, Marysville Kiwanis and all other community supporter who contributed to the awesome kids’ trout fishing event at Marysville’s Jennings Park on May 7.

I was able to take two of my grandsons who were visiting me. Both of them had been fishing several times but never had the adventure of actually catching a fish until this fishing event. All the kids attending were having fun catching fish, thanks to all who contributed their valuable time, great efforts, generosity and donations to make this event a possibility.

Again, thanks to all of you who truly showed how much you care about our children. You are a great blessing to our community.
