Just a few minutes ago, a Christmas miracle happened in my kitchen. I was about to start a batch of Christmas cookies when a rap sounded on the door.
There stood a perfect stranger with a wallet and pen! He had been driving home when he looked over at our car and noticed the wallet. It was mine and I had not missed it since coming home from errands a half hour earlier.
What a wonderful thing to do! I thanked him, but he would not accept anything. I hate to think of the misery a lost wallet would have caused near the holidays!
So, a million thanks to the stranger from Mukilteo.
