This letter is in recognition of some clear excellence in education. There are always voices to be heard about schools and things that are not going right; we wanted to let it be known that since moving to Maryville (two years ago) we have had the opportunity to work with some of the schools here in town (and there are some fine schools) helping some children during difficult times. These children attend different schools.
Recently we have been able to see how Liberty Elementary School treats their students (we have been impressed.) The student needs are important, the student is surrounded with a can-do, overcoming attitude that is expressed by everyone who is contacted. We wanted to say these things because these are resources that every school child, no matter where, could benefit from.
