Restoring the health and financial stability of the Marysville School District will take time, but with the state’s oversight and assistance, that process is happening as we speak. With school starting in a few days, our attention must turn to our children. Here is a message that I believe every one of our students should hear at the beginning of each school day:
“Good morning, Marysville students. When you leave here today, you will be smarter and more capable than you were when you got here. You will have stronger friendships and connections than you did when you got here. You will be better able to share your gifts and talents with our community and with your culture than you were when you got here. Now let’s work together to make this day count!”
