I read with interest the county council’s plan for more parks and especially about the need in southwest Snohomish County. Well, where are Mill Creek’s parks big enough for football, soccer and baseball? Instead of building more houses and apartments, they need to provide for recreation, not these tiny neighborhood parks that are designed for the surrounding houses (no parking). There is a parcel of land (20 acres) just south and west of 164th Street SW that is for sale, as are all other parcels in the area. Mill Creek is in need of play fields so its resident don’t continue to impact the county sports fields, as they do now.
