More derelict vessels need to be removed from river

I was hiking on Spencer Island, Oct. 31, and from the east side of the island spotted a barge, listing along the bank.

After reading article about sunken boats and the problems they create to navigation and the environment (“Crews remove three more junk boats from the Snohomish River,” The Herald Nov. 2) I was surprised this one wasn’t included.
