Thank you, Snohomish County residents! Operation School Bell was able to clothe 2,274 students from 14 school districts. We provided warm clothing to 300 more students this year because of your support to our thrift shop and other fundraising activities.
For many of these students, it’s the first time they have been given an opportunity to choose their own new coat, jeans and t-shirts. Many of the students enter Operation School Bell apprehensively and after their time with our volunteers return to school smiling! Sometimes the one item we take for granted, like a new toothbrush or comb, can make an enormous difference in a child’s life.
Thank you to all the school personnel who arrange appointments and transported students to Operation School Bell. It is with your help that Operation School Bell is able to continue its service to children.
Assistance League of Everett is an all-volunteer organization whose philanthropic projects have been helping children, teens and adults in Snohomish County since 1965.
