I am proud to endorse Mike Dixon for the Mukilteo City Council. As a 17-year Mukilteo resident and an eight-year elected water and wastewater commissioner for both Alderwood and Mukilteo, Dixon has a proven track record of effective service to our community.
With degrees from MIT and a 30-year career in public and private sectors, His educational and professional background equips him to handle complex issues. He successfully operates a small business in Old Town Mukilteo, and will strive to attract and retain high-quality businesses.
Dixon’s dedication to community service shines through his role as chair of the City of Mukilteo Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission, ensuring all voices are heard in shaping city policies.
He’s a strong advocate for our schools and youth programs, with two children in the Mukilteo school system. As an Army Reserve military veteran and Navy family member, he understands the unique challenges faced by families and seniors in our community.
His decision to run for City Council stems from a desire to offer thoughtful, nonpartisan leadership. His experience as a utility commissioner emphasizes long-term planning, listening to constituents and regional collaboration.
Expect transparency and informed decision-making from Dixon. He won’t focus on photo ops or ulterior political motives. Instead, he’ll reach out to residents, businesses and regional partners, conduct thorough policy research, and make decisions in Mukilteo’s best interest.
Please join me in voting for Mike Dixon for Mukilteo City Council Position 5, to secure a brighter future for our beautiful city.
