New Everett park should honor Helen Jackson

The park by the new YMCA needs to be named The Helen Jackson Memorial Park.

It’s about time that a park in Everett was named after a woman! Helen was an amazing woman who devoted much of her life, time and support to our city, programs for children, non-profit organizations and many other programs and services. Naming this park after her not only honors Helen, but her husband, Sen. Henry M. “Scoop” Jackson and her family.

Come on Everett: Step up and honor Helen and her life-long dedication to our city and its people!
