What is wrong with the people at the lottery commission? Didn’t we have enough to worry about with the Sept. 11 anniversary? Are they planning to set up another panic situation along the lines of the “War of the Worlds” program by Orson Wells? The stupid commercial for the new lottery has had several people, especially the elderly, in a panic, believing that the Space Needle is actually being moved. I think that a pretend news flash stating “recorded earlier” with all the bells and whistles of a real news flash is in very poor taste.
I have several elderly friends who were all in a panic when they saw the Space Needle being hauled away. The state lottery commission should remove this commercial from the airways.
