No mention of Fourth on front page is insulting

Apparently, the editors at your paper were educated in Seattle Public Schools, attended The Evergreen State College and despise The United States of America. They totally left the celebration of our nation’s birthday off the front page on the Fourth of July. (That would be Independence Day!) What a disappointment and slap in the face to every American. You must have a bunch of children running the paper. One clue I picked up on is the way you write the date. At least I think it’s the date. Maybe it’s an IP address. 07.04.2016

You would think someone would have gotten the message that this is Independence Day, when you have a paper filled with ads mentioning the holiday, selling everything under the sun.

I expect to see an apology, and a pretty big one at that, on the front page of the paper tomorrow or this will be my last week of 2,704 weeks as a Herald subscriber.
