Frustrated parents have reported tardy arrivals at Bothell and Woodinville area schools in the wake of back-ups sparked by the start of tolling on I-405.
The Northshore School District continues to work with Washington State Department of Transportation staff, said school district spokesperson Leanna Albrecht.
“But students should not be arriving late because of the I-405 toll lanes and the domino effect that it’s caused,” she said.
That’s because the district has adjusted some routes, including times that drivers report.
Other perennial issues also can cause delays, Albrecht added. Those include congestion in general, collisions, traffic signal failures and bus mechanical problems.
If a parent is experiencing any issues, they can contact the district’s transportation department for assistance at 425-408-7900.
