I have a few questions regarding the opinion expressed by a recent letter writer that Michael Bennett along with Colin Kaepernick are entitled to express their views by not standing for the national anthem.
What are these “views”? Do they really think they can inspire me to buy in to whatever they are, when they denigrate the men and women who have fought and even given their lives to enable them the freedom to express these views?
Frankly, their lack of patriotism along with the letter writer’s and their failure to recognize it makes me sick. I wonder if Bennett has given any portion of his millions to organizations to support our wounded warriors? As to the the letter writer, I wonder if she has any relatives or friends in the armed forces who have given their lives or suffered on her behalf.
