I am vehemently opposed to the president’s land grab for his oil buddies in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. The oil companies should not be trusted when they claim that they care about the environment. They have lied to us so many times before – for example:
Exxon Mobil recently said that the 1989 Alaska Valdez oil spill left no lasting damage to the environment. Oil should not be the most important thing on the president’s agenda.
