Here we go again. Recent statistics indicate that crude oil prices have lowered by about $1.40 per barrel. Also, one statistic indicated that some of the petroleum companies have an income of somewhere between $150 and $160 million per day. Yes, per day. Still the price of gasoline keeps going up and up. It seems that these companies are engaged in price manipulating similar to Enron. It seems to me that price gouging and manipulating has been found to be illegal for some companies, so why not the petroleum companies? I think it is time that our Congress takes notice and action to curtail this ongoing gasoline price manipulating. It seems that for petroleum companies, enough is never quite enough.
