Mr. Shahram Hadian spoke Saturday at the Snohomish County GOP Convention, following Rob McKenna. Yes, Rob seems nice and fits the bill as a qualified candidate for governor. He said and did the right things at the convention and got a solid standard applause when done speaking.
But Mr. Hadian did something Rob did not. Hadian rocked the crowd with moving appeals to the fundamental threats facing us all.
In my opinion, Mr. Hadian is the essence of what it means to be an American. As an immigrant, and now longtime U.S. citizen, he knows probably more than us the true value of liberty and freedom. He has seen the world in ways most Americans have not. He realizes with great clarity the threats and risks posed to our uniquely American values of life, liberty, (religious) freedom and the pursuit of happiness. He believes in unalienable rights and our founders’ vision of big citizens, little government.
If Hadian and McKenna where given equal time on the TV airwaves, I think most liberty and freedom voters of Washington would see Hadian as the clear winner in today’s race for governor.
As a union member at Boeing for nearly 35 years, I think we all can see clearly the plethora of threats our families face from large, uncontrolled, anti-constitutional government; I can also see clearly the path to the solution. Hadian is that solution. I proudly stand by him.
I believe Hadian will be portrayed as a radical by the GOP. Why? Because he spoke with truth and honesty to the real issues at hand. Are we ready for that?
