Our thanks to Alaska Airlines

Hooray to Alaska Airlines for caring enough about their passengers to give the boot to the unruly child on a recent flight from Seattle to Miami. (“Everett family puzzled by decision to boot boy off jet,” Wednesday.)

My brother, sister and I flew home on Southwest from Michigan after the death of our sister. Oblivious parents and an unruly child made our flight terrible. We hoped to get some rest on the flight home, but that was impossible thanks to the brat on our flight not only disrupting us, but everyone in earshot.

Hats off to Alaska Airlines.
