Recently I was walking (with a walker) to my friend’s house nearby. Halfway there, a package on my walker started to fall. I grabbed for it, lost my balance and fell down on my face. My face was bruised and cut.
All of a sudden, a man came to my rescue. Then another man came to help. The first man had just gotten off work at the hospital and was on his way home when he saw me fall and came to help. The other fellow happened to be nearby and came to help, too. Both of them helped me get up and one of the men even offered to drive me to my friend’s house, but I wanted to walk with my walker so I knew that I was OK. So, he walked with me. I thanked both men for their help and they told me their names, but I have forgotten them.
I just want to thank those men again and point out to people how kind others can be when we’re in trouble.
