Public can be alert for stolen goods

This letter is addressed to the party or parties that stole my husband’s and my bikes. These were expensive bikes – one being a Schwinn mountain bike, black chrome in color, and the other a Mongoose, Crossway, reptile blue in color. Both bikes had many accessories on them, including rearview mirrors. These bikes were taken from the inside of our garage on Nov. 14, at 12:30 to 12:45 p.m., in broad daylight. My husband and I were in the house at the time, which shows how brazen they were.

Anyone who ends up in receipt of these, one or both, should realize that they are stolen items. We keep excellent records, and gave the police all pertinent information, such as serial numbers, model, etc. to trace them. So, if anybody shows up with a bike (or bikes) helmets and all, they are stolen. No, they didn’t just find them, or buy them at a garage sale!

In this day of turmoil, it is very disheartening to know that people like this are out there. Well, we will be watching every bike out on the road. Our neighbors have been alerted as well. If you took these bikes to support a drug habit, you are the lowest of the low.
