Regarding the story about $200 credits to resident’s Snohomish PUD bills (“Snohomish County PUD to start distributing bill credits this month,” The Herald, Aug. 3): The article claims that the money came from a state grant program and the state’s Climate Commitment Act.
Could The Herald tell the truth? It was money extorted from working mothers buying gasoline to drive to work. It was extorted from every driver, rich or poor, young or old. It was extorted from everyone pulling up to a gas pump in Washington state. This was Gov. Jay Inslee’s parting scheme to force us all into batteries and strained electric grids.
Oh. yes, it is a final attempt to buy our votes! Well Jay, my vote is not for sale! Maybe Kamala Harris’ administration will have openings for a failed administrator. You, sir, are well qualified for such a position.
