It is nice to know that the human spirit of honesty is still alive in Marysville.
My 4-year-old lost his wallet. We looked all over the house for it but couldn’t find it. I realized that he probably left it in one of the stores that we had gone shopping at that day. I called several of them without any luck.
I called the last place on my list and when they went back to look, they said there was a Mickey Mouse wallet that had been turned in (which is what my son lost). I went to pick it up and sure enough, it was his wallet. And … it had all of his money in it, which was $12.49.
Not only is my 4-year-old happy, but my other two children are happy as well because they had agreed to split the cost of new art supplies and if my son’s wallet wasn’t turned in, they wouldn’t have had enough money!
I was also very happy and it makes me feel good to know that someone did the right thing! I would like to send a big thank you to the person who chose to do the right thing and re-established my faith in human kindness. I would also like to thank Craft Mart for its employees’ integrity for holding onto the lost wallet.
