Planning to install stop lights and/or add red light cameras? Consider roundabouts. They save lives (accidents happen at lower impact speeds), authorize California stops (providing yield vs. stop signals), keep traffic flowing (eliminating traffic flow stagnation through an intersection between signal light changes), and eliminate signal light and red light camera maintenance expenses.
A roundabout is virtually maintenance free but will not provide a new revenue source to our government.
