As former members of the Everett School Board, we want to express our support for the re-election of Roy Yates. During his more than 12 years on the board, each of us had the pleasure of working alongside Roy. We saw firsthand the ability and dedication he brings to that position. In these times of challenging finances, his professional background in banking is a real asset to the district.
As the district continues to develop its curriculum to help students meet the demands of tomorrow, his understanding of the changes education has gone through over the last decade is invaluable. For these reasons, we urge parents and community members to vote for Roy Yates on No. 6 for Position 2 on the Everett School Board.
